‘Le Arpie Gentili’ Coasters by Piero Fornasetti, c.1950

A complete set of eight Piero Fornasetti ceramic drinks coasters, entitled ‘Le Arpie Gentili’. These 1950s coasters each depict a mythical half bird, half human figure held within a cage. This beautiful Fornasetti design is very rare and highly sought after.
