Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte Scalpellato Dish, c.1935

A wonderful, gently sloping, concave cut glass dish from Fontana Arte, c.1935. This dish, with its ‘scalpellato’ edging was produced by the prestigious Milanese house under the direction of Pietro Chiesa. This is a superb example of Italian glass production from this period and is discreetly signed/marked ‘FX’.
