Pair of Sciolari Brass and Chrome Geometric Table Lamps, c.1970

A rare pair of geometric table lamps in brass and chrome by the Italian designer Gaetano Sciolari. Taken from his ‘geometric series’ in the 1970s, the lamps are constructed from brushed brass and polished chrome square cylinders which fit together to form a geometric style cube. Each of the lights have a two-lamp fitting and the shade holder is height adjustable. These glamorous table lights are in exceptional condition for their age and are signed ‘Sciolari/Roma’ on the both the fitting and the base.
