A rare ‘polyhedral’ crystal chandelier designed by architect and designer Carlo Scarpa in the late 1950s. Produced by the prestigious Muranese company, Venini, the sixty-five hand-blown poliedri consist of clear, pink and blue coloured crystals, each possessing a unique iridescent lustre on the surface of the glass. This pioneering glass technique is most unusual and has become one of Venini’s most important designs in their catalogue of works . Signed in the frame.
