A particularly beautiful 1940s picture frame designed by Italian architect and designer Carlo Scarpa. Produced by the prestigious Muranese company, Venini, this honey coloured piece was made using the ‘Battuto’ glass making technique. Deep vertical and horizontal lines score the glass giving it a unique, textured feel. A solid brass support with decorative clasp encases the glass surround.
