Archimede Seguso Torciglione Picture Frame, c.1940

A stunning glass picture frame from one of the master glass producers in Italy, Archimede Seguso. The finely twisted clear glass surround wraps around the central brass frame, where it is joined at the centre with a glass leaf. This piece is a wonderful example of the quality of Murano glass production that was taking place in the early 1940s.
